As it marches toward a future that promises to be glorious, Africa needs opportunities. These opportunities, whether large or small, must emerge primarily from Africa itself. Each of its daughters and sons bears the immense responsibility of contributing to this shared destiny. The Osu Foundation (“forward” in the Fang Beti language) is therefore our way of contributing, however modestly, to the development of our continent. To this end, we have chosen to focus our efforts on a specific area: human development. We are convinced that by thinking outside the box and innovating, we can enable every individual to develop harmoniously and holistically and to achieve their full potential. Service is a privilege. At the Osu Foundation, we feel privileged to be able to serve Africa by giving back what it has given us: the opportunity for our own development.
