- Starting in the second session, each aspirant identifies a priority community development issue within their living environment and receives guidance to undertake a local development initiative that will produce tangible responses to this issue.
- The aspirant is supported in their approach by a tutor who guides them in project development, resource research and mobilization, implementation and monitoring, evaluation, and the dissemination of their experience, notably in the journal Cahiers Osu.
- The subsequent expansion of these projects with support from development partners (a sign of the initiative's success) is the goal.
